Items of Interest
- Carolinas Chapter has increased its Scholarship Award to $3,000 for 2010. This is money we raise from sponsorship, split the pot drawings at meetings and membership dues.
- We are offering door prizes and drawings to increase attendance at our functions and it appears to be working.
- To keep everyone awake and in attendance during the meetings we do a 50/50 or split the pot drawing.
- We currently have an 18 member Board including, Chaired positions, Directors and Advisors. Our Attendance from the board has been awesome with an average of 10-12 members at each meeting.
- Our Membership has hovered around 40 for the past several years with the help and hard work of a very active board. It is our intentions and focus to see a 10% increase this year in membership. (A real challenge in this economy!)
